| The N.R.I. Cell was started in Zilla Praja Parishad Office, Guntur on 27.09.2003 for the N.R.I. Works proposed with N.R.I. Contribution, 50% of estimated cost will be N.R.I. Contribution and balance 50 % will be from Zilla Parishad General Funds to develop the Rural Areas by providing permanent and useful nature of works viz., Renovation of School Buildings, Waiting Hall and Toilets to Z.P.H. Schools, Compound Walls to Schools, Improvements and Infrastructure of Computer Lab, Science Lab and Maths Laboratory to Z.P.H. Schools, Providing Drinking Water, Construction of Community Halls, Cement Roads and Improvements Burial Grounds, etc., |

| Under this NRI CELL, Zilla Praja Parishad, Guntur is undertaking the following works with 50% NRI contribution. |
| 01.Construction of Z.P.Schools |
| 02.Formation of cement roads & B.T. Roads |
| 03.Construction of Community Halls |
| 04.Construction of Compound walls to Schools |
| 05.Sanitations |
| 06.Construction of Side drains |
| 07.Construction of culverts |
| 08.Construction of causeways etc. |

| And also undertaking the water works like Drinking water schemes, Pilot Projects etc. with 10% of NRI Contribution . |
